The FSL136HR integrates a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller and SenseFET and is specifically designed for high performance offline Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) with minimal external parts count. The FSL136MR includes an integrated high-voltage power switching regulator combining an avalanche-rugged SenseFET with current-mode PWM control. Features of the integrated PWM controller include: undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection, leading edge spacing (LEB), frequency generator for EMI attenuation, optimized gate on/off driver, high temperature shutdown (TSD) protection , a temperature compensated precision current source for loop compensation, and a fault protection circuit. FSL136HR provides good soft-start performance. Compared to discrete MOSFET and controller or RCC switching converter solutions, the FSL136HR can reduce overall parts count, design size and weight; while improving energy efficiency, productivity and system reliability. This device provides a basic platform for cost-effective flyback converter designs.
